Radio on the Lake Theatre is recipient of the 2021 Knight Foundation Akron Arts Challenge!

Radio on the Lake Theatre was named one of six recipients of the 2021 Knight Arts Challenge Akron from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The grant was used to create Listening to History - a portable audio tour utilizing the art of the radio play to illuminate five historical Akron landmarks for the visually challenged, and ROTLT partnered with the Akron Blind Center to bring this project to life for its constituents.

In addition to the $18,000 grant for Listening to History, ROTLT also received a $10,000 Tech Grant for technical support.
